Shalom from Jerusalem!
We arrived in Tel Aviv and hit the ground running discovering some hidden talents among our trip members when we were put to the task of herding sheep at Neot Kedumim Biblical Reserve. Also, while at the reserve we were able to conduct one of the greatest mitzvahs (good deed) possible, planting trees that will grow and provide for the land of Israel.
We celebrated Canada Day with bus decorations on our way to Laser Tag where our future Israel Defence Force officers Jake, Jamie, and Dean ruled the game and brought their team to victory! Later at the outdoor market in Jerusalem, Taylor and Carly proved their amazing haggling skills and brought the merchant down 50%, now that’s a good bargain! Everyone has been trying new foods and learning new words, as we continue our stay in the Judean Hills.
Keep an eye out for our next update, seeing how the trip members are very excited about the many adventures we have planned it’s sure to be a good read.
