Hola! We’re approaching our last week here in Costa Rica and we’re enjoying everything to the fullest. Surfing was amazing and one of the favorite activities of the group. We had several pro surfers, like Andrew S! We also have done some hard work to help the community in Uvita. We painted the dining room and kitchen of an elementary school there, where some kids get their only meal of the day. It was very special and rewarding for everybody involved.
We are currently in a city called Quepos which is very close to the very touristy town of Manuel Antonio. We have visited the National park there, where trip member Saige was particularly excited about seeing monkeys! After taking lots of pictures of them we made our way down to the beautiful beach in Manuel Antonio. The water was very calm, crystal clear, and perfect for swimming. Today we spent our morning at a different beach, and in the afternoon we went white water rafting. It was an amazing experience and the guides/instructors were awesome. After we got back to the hotel, we had dinner and ended the night by hanging out in the hotel lobby telling jokes. Alex had some of the funniest! Tomorrow morning we’re heading to the city of Zarcero, to speak lots of Spanish and to get to know the locals! So bye for now and until our next update! ADIOS!
