Life Changing Experiences

So Long, Farewell! – California & the Canyons

We just had the most amazing last days here in Arizona!

After traveling from Flagstaff to Sedona, we headed to the Pink Jeep Tours that gave us a look at the natural rock formations that make Arizona so beautiful. It was such a thrilling adventure! After some time strolling around Sedona and grabbing some lunch, we were off to Scottsdale for dinner at Dave and Buster’s. We had a great meal as a family and then headed upstairs to play some exciting games. Hallie and Julianne showed off their skills at the basketball nets and Jack showed off his luck by flaunting the 1000 tickets that he won right off the bat. Pooling their tickets together Jack, Noah, and Jared R (with the help of a few other friends) traded in their tickets for the biggest white bear stuffed animal that I have ever seen.
California & the Canyons
Today was our very last day and we made sure to spend as much time together as we possibly could. Our day started off at the Cheesecake Factory where everyone feasted on delicious Oreo, chocolate, or raspberry cheesecake. After that we headed back to the hotel for some final fun in the sun. The whole group headed out to the pool to splash around. Travis, Josh, Jake, Shane, Amanda F, and a few other trip members played an exciting game of Jump Ball, while Jeri and Jenny took some adorable photos in the pool. Karlyn and Anouchka hung out on the lounge chairs taking in the sunshine, while Sabrina and Ariel enjoyed lounging around in the water. After the pool, all the trip members took some time to get ready for our final banquet. We all got together for one last meal as well as for some dancing and celebrating. The night finished off with the handing out of Paper Plate Awards, reflecting on the different traits and moments that made all of our trip members unique and so very special.

Our time on the west coast has come to an end, but one thing is sure: the bonds and friendships that have been formed over the past three weeks will last a lifetime.

Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to get to know your teenagers and spend a summer of a lifetime with them!
