Eastcoast Encounter is checking in from beautiful Niagara Falls! We got to our campsite, set up our tents and now are enjoying the beautiful amenities, like the pool and the basketball courts.
Just a few days ago we were in Mont Tremblant where we went waterskiing, tubing and wake boarding. Congrats to Sarah for not only getting up on skis but also succeeding at skiing “on the rope”. Claire, Leah and Abby enjoyed tubing for their first time. Dean was an expert on the wakeboard and showed us his skills on some fun tricks. We also did the luging down the face of the mountain. Great job Eric M. navigating down the hill!
After the day of fun activities, we played the Pen trade up game. An interactive game where the Trip is divided into teams and each team is given a pen which they must try to trade up for the most interesting item. Congrats to Sophia and Allie’s team for bringing back a luging helmet!
Our next destination was beautiful Montreal. On our first evening we delighted in classic Montreal smoked meat sandwiches at Dunn’s Famous restaurant followed by Ice Skating. First time skaters Jeff and Ryan Ba. did an amazing job. Is there anything these boys can’t do?! We also played two exciting games of Laser Quest. Gabriel was a superstar coming in first place on the individual round. Also, Ben led his team to victory in the group round! Other Montreal highlights included walking through the city’s breathtaking old port and trying local Quebec food classic delicious poutine at the Montreal landmark and local favorite Orange Julep. Yummm.
Toronto brought the Hockey Hall of fame, the CN tower at sunset (what a view!) and Canada’s Wonderland. What a week in Canada we have been having!
Until next time…
