Making Memories in California

Firstly, we would like to congratulate Miles, the final winner of Gotcha! Once we arrived at the famous San Diego Zoo, we saw the extraordinary panda exhibit and took in an aerial view from a gondola. Everyone had a great dinner at Liberty Village and we ended the evening by playing laser tag, where everyone enhanced their team building skills while having fun. A special shoutout to Jasper and Daniel for getting the most points in a game! The following day our group went surfing! Rob was amongst the many trip members who worked super hard and succeeded in getting up on the surfboard. It was amazing to be by the beach and for many of us to try something new. Later in the evening we enjoyed each other’s company while walking around in Seaport Village and taking in the extraordinary seaside view.

We continued our once in a lifetime trip with a stop in Las Vegas. Our first stop when we arrived was at the iconic Las Vegas sign, where we took a great group photo! From there, we went on the famous New York New York roller coaster, where Sara conquered her fear of the rides with her friends by her side. Afterwards, the group had a great time exploring the renown Vegas strip’s restaurants and attractions. The next day, we all had a blast swimming in the hotel pool before exploring the Bellagio and watching the spectacular water show.

Our journey continued to Kanab, Utah, where we hiked in Zion National Park and embraced all the natural scenery around us. Later in the evening we started a Color War with two teams, Disney versus Universal. For the next 24 hours both teams will compete in different activities to gain points for their team, but only one team can win it all!

In the morning, we witnessed amazing views as we hiked in Bryce Canyon before making our way to the beautiful pink sand dunes. All the trip members had a blast there and some even videotaped themselves performing a fabulous version of the chorus of the, “In My Feelings” dance and lip-sync challenge. Later that evening we went for dinner and learned how to line dance, everyone learned the moves quickly and had an amazing time dancing together.

On the way to the Grand Canyon, we saw elk and deer outside the bus. Upon arrival, it was evident that the Grand Canyon was completely jaw dropping! After taking in the gorgeous landmark, we celebrated National Ice Cream day with delicious Dairy Queen treats. Next we arrived in Sedona, a super cute little town, where we got the chance to ride through the Arizona desert in pink Jeeps! With the mountains surrounding us, the view was mesmerizing. We later drove to Scottsdale where everyone had a great time playing games at Dave and Busters.

To enjoy our last day, we had a delicious lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and relaxed by the pool before hosting our last night banquet, where we all shared our best trip memories together and danced the night away!

This trip has been an amazing experience and we have created memories to last a lifetime!
