10 Reasons to Visit Costa Rica this Summer 8

Costa Rica is an amazing place to get in touch with nature, participate in action-adventure activities, complete rewarding community service, and totally decompress from daily life.

  1. The beaches are pristine. There really is #nofilter on that bright turquoise water

  2. Ziplining through the Cloud Forest. Located at a higher elevation than a typical rainforest, the cloud forest in Monteverde has a cool, foggy mist, making you feel like you’re flying through the sky!

  3. Pura Vida. Costa Rica’s motto is “pura vida” Spanish for “pure life,” which is emulated through the friendly and relaxed vibe throughout the whole country.

  4. The sunsets. The Costa Rican sunsets are a VIBRANT pink, purple and orange. It’s no wonder people sit on the beach to watch the sunset nightly.

  8. The volcanoes. There are 61 volcanoes across the country, with the most famous one in Arenal being visible from all angles of the city!

  9. The hot springs. Because of the geothermal activity in Arenal from the volcanoes, there are tons of hot springs around that contain healing minerals for you to relax in (seriously, your skin will never be smoother than after a hot spring chill session.)
