Sunny and Surprising

In a country that has seen plenty of changes throughout history, Portugal is a solid European highlight. Scenery and seafood. Traditional villages and historic cities. Dramatic cliffs and stunning views. Ancient stone carvings and cliff-top castles. And with more than 450 miles of coastline, stretches of beautiful beaches. Nestled among hills on the banks of the Douro River, Porto is known for its mountains and natural parks. Lisbon is one of the major economic centers of Europe, and Portugal’s capital city is alive with contemporary culture, a thriving arts scene, exciting culinary delights, nightlife, and the best weather of all the cities of Europe. And then there’s the Algarve, one of the most popular resort destinations in all of Europe. Home to stretches of beach and land that still remain untouched and beautiful sea caves only accessible by boat or kayak.
