It’s so easy to become an explorer and adventurer in the rustic, tropical beauty of Hawaii. You’ll come to realize just how diverse, different but equally stunning the 3 islands of Maui, Kauai and the Big Island actually are. Experience this paradise through thrilling surfing, kayaking, zip-lining, river tubing and so much more on this Hawaii adventure tour for teens! You’ll also experience Hawaiian culture while surrounded by your friendly, welcoming and close-knit Ohana! This small group experience is expertly planned which allows for flexibility, spontaneity and group bonding.

ON TOUR departures offer more independence and age-appropriate activities for older teens currently completing 11th or 12th grade.
Fly to Maui. Once you land, your orientation will officially begin with some of our favorite icebreakers and “get to know you” activities.
Start off your Hawaiian adventure with white sand beaches and lush vegetation! Enjoy Maui’s crystal blue waters as you surf, outrigger canoe and snorkel your way around the island. Hike the Iao Valley, Haleakala Crater, and the beautiful Twin Falls. You’ll leave the island feeling like a local after learning traditional lei making techniques and experiencing an authentic luau!
Hop back in the water for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and a thrilling backcountry tubing adventure through caves. Enjoy a Wailua River boat tour and brief nature walk through the rainforest to the lush Fern Grotto, Kauai’s geological wonder. Enjoy breathtaking views hiking the Waimea Canyon and exploring Makauwahi Cave Reserve’s rich history. Immerse yourself in true Hawaiian culture by trying local cuisine and learning a traditional Hula dance!
Enjoy your second set of professional surf lessons and snorkel with Manta Rays. Hike Volcanoes National Park and zipline above the Honomu Coast for picturesque views of the island. Meet “Kona Joe” and learn about the fine art of growing, processing and roasting coffee before saying goodbye to your new Ohana!
Say farewell to your new friends as you part ways for your return home. The summer might be over, but all the memories you’ve made will last a lifetime!
Maui, Hawaii
Situated on the shores of picturesque Kahului Bay, the Maui Seaside Hotel is just minutes from Kahului the beach. Enjoy the ‘island style’ room decorations and chill at the pool with new friends in your free time.
Kauai, Hawaii
Located on the beach, the Kauai Shores Hotel will serve as your base while you experience the Garden Isle’s natural beauty. It features a swimming pool, a large courtyard, and air-conditioned rooms.
Big Island, Hawaii
Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the Kona Seaside Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, views of the famous Kailua Bay & Pier, and comfortable accommodations. The perfect place to relax after a day of exciting adventures.
Flight to Maui
For participants on this program, we help you coordinate your flight times and greet you upon arrival in Maui.
Internal Flights
Separate from the airfare to and from this program, there is an additional $370 USD fee for internal flights from Maui to Kauai, and Kauai to Big Island.
Return Flight Home from Big Island
For your return flight from the Big Island, our leaders help you to check-in and remain at the airport until flights at designated times have departed. Depending on the number of students from the New York area we may offer a chaperoned flight.
Meals
Eating well while away from home is an important part of a summer’s success. We understand how it helps our travelers feel secure, happy and looking forward to their day. On this program in Hawaii, breakfasts are at restaurants (either the hotel’s or out) and lunches and dinners are out at restaurants.
We have satisfied the choosiest of eaters and gladly accommodate most special dietary requests including vegetarian, anaphylactic food allergies, lactose intolerance, celiac disease, and kosher style. We welcome discussing your individual requirements with you and have extensive experience in this area.
Laundry
You will only need one week’s worth of clothing as outlined in the packing list that will be sent to you prior to departure. Every week you may drop off your laundry at a local wash and fold service and then pick it up clean, folded and ready to go.
What’s Included
Included in your program tuition is all lodging, breakfast and dinner daily, 5 lunches, recreation & entertainment listed, airport transfers in designated times, gratuities & taxes.
Not included is transportation to and from the program, lunches, snacks, personal spending money for souvenirs, and laundry. We also make available optional travel insurance that is not included, but highly recommended.
