Dear Parents of Eastcoast Encounter,
Our stay in Tremblant was great. The trip members enjoyed an “amazing race” program in the village with riddles that sent them running throughout the town. Kids would go into stores with clues that would lead them to different spots and an eventual finish line at a candy shop. The race was close between the all boys group and Perri, Zoe, Julia, Michelle and Alex.
We’ve had a few new participants join us in Tremblant and Montreal. A big welcome was extended to Mario from Venezuela and Marta S and Valentina from Italy! They have been a great addition to the trip family! We had another birthday yesterday! It was Sydney’s birthday in Caratunk while we were camping, and on the 10th, Alyssa celebrated her 14th birthday. We had a birthday bash at the Hard Rock Café with delicious homemade cake from Sams’ mother.
During ice skating, Lauren helped out Valentina, Marta S, and some of the other beginner ice skaters with her ice skating experience. Julia was also very good, showcasing her skating skills on the rink. Out recent lobby the lobster winners include Zoe, Lauren, and Bette. The kids are doing a great job of taking care of Lobby and including him in activities. He was found ice skating, and has said he’s really excited for Niagara Falls.
Laser tag was an intense battle. Max was a definite sharpshooter, winning one of the free for all rounds with the codename Ice T. Team battles were also very spirited! Some of the groups include a group of girls called the Cobras, and another group named the Goon Squad. We are now heading to Toronto. The right side of the bus took the lead during the game ‘pass it up’ and ‘categories’. The sun is breaking out, and we are excited for our next stop!
Until our next update,
The Eastcoast Encounter Staff!
