Operations Coordinator

We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team in our Montreal office to fill the role of Operations Coordinator. This role is a full-time position (40hrs/week) that reports to the Director of Operations.

This position is ideal for someone who is a proven achiever, a strong organizer, an efficient communicator, and a proactive individual. The selected candidate will be skilled at getting the best out of the projects they are working on, have very keen attention to detail, and enjoy working within a team.

What would your responsibilities be?

  • Inputting and maintaining accurate information on flight plans for our summer programs
  • Managing calls and emails from clients with regards to their flights and responding to any questions or concerns effectively
  • Maintaining positive client and supplier relationships
  • Managing and booking air and other travel arrangements for our seasonal employees
  • Ensuring that all requests are processed within specified time schedule
  • Liaising with enrollment and planning teams on cross-departmental functions
  • Update and maintain our databases with meticulous notes
  • Be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule in June, July, and August including work in the Montreal office late June and July
  • Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
  • Support the overall admin team and perform admin type tasks

What kind of qualifications do we look for?

  • University degree
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and multiple work streams
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required
  • Ability to take initiative, function autonomously, and perform as an active team member with exceptional collaboration skills; ability to build strong relationships with internal partners. 
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software to be able to assist others in the organization
  • An effective communicator with fluent command of the English language (verbal and written)
  • Ability to take direction and accept critique
