NEW YORK ARDSLEY Jill loved it! She had a great time. She loved the Tour director Heidi. I never though I could have such an amazing summer. I have made life long friends and would love to go on another Westcoast trip. Dana had “the time of her life”. It was a tremendous growing experience for her. I had the greatest summer of my life on this trip and if I could go back I definitely would! Jenette had a fantastic time! She commented on how well the group got along. This was a growing experience for her that will positively affect her future! Thanks for giving Jenette the best summer! I made unbelievable friendships and amazing memories that one day I will pass onto my children. Westcoast was the greatest summer program ever. Abbe Kramer The Service trip in Alaska was so much more fun than I thought it was going to be. It made me want to help out my community more. When I go home, I’m going to try to find a place where I can help out. I also made a lot of really great friends. The counselors and people were amazing and made working fun. The staff was terrific. Very well planned and organized. This was a very well run trip, the perfect combination of education and recreation. This trip was very age appropriate. The summer I spent in Belize was indescribable. From services projects like running a summer camp for local kids to the protection of the turtle eggs, every thing we did was rewarding and meaningful. The lasting friendships made with the kids on the tour, as well as the people I met in Belize are irreplaceable. The amount I learned about the country and various cultures here as well as myself as a person was boundless. This was a summer to remember and an amazing experience overall. Not only did I feel accomplished about all the works I completed on the Community Service Belize program, but it opened me up to different living conditions and pushed me physically and mentally. It is definitely an amazing experience I will never forget. I loved Westcoast Connection. I am so sad it’s over! Samantha thought that her director was THE BEST, patient, mature, and fun. You did a great job. Our daughter Stephanie had the best summer of her life. Erica loved the mix of kids & counselors on her trip. The dynamics were great. BEDFORD Best tour of my life. Your Director Cayleigh was absolutely fantastic. She was kind enough to call and speak to us directly. When Ashleigh came home she expressed what a fantastic trip she had and how terrific, encouraging and motivating Cayleigh was along with Adam and Naomi. Your company is fortunate to have them on your staff. The overall communications with your summer office was very good. Susan was understanding and efficient. We would definitely recommend Westcoast Connection to my friends for their teenagers. This was truly a rewarding experience. As a parent I want to thank and commend you for a job more than well done. From the first telephone call inquiry about the tour until Doug stepped off the plane today, I knew I was dealing with a company that was organized and professional. Every time I spoke to him during the trip I was further assured of how well things were run. He knew what was expected of him, and what the rules were from the beginning. These rules however, did not interfere with his good times, but enhanced it. The counselors and tour director conducted themselves as professionals, but were not above hanging out and having fun with the kids. I would absolutely recommend Westcoast Connection to anyone looking for this type of experience for their child. Thank you again. It was a great experience and it made my summer the most amazing summer so far. Ali Saraniti There was always something to do on the trip. The staff was really fun and could relate to the group a lot. Vinnie came home raving about his experience, wanting to go back next year, and planning a visit with a new friend this weekend! Our children have taken many different travel camps and we want you to know that Scott got the most from Westcoast Connection. The mix of the children and the leadership of the counselors totally enhanced this great European experience. Max had a wonderful experience on his first tour to Eastern Canada last summer (2003). He came home so animated, so excited about the kids & the activities. We were concerned that while he would undoubtedly be seeing some of the most beautiful sights this summer in Western Canada it would be hard to surpass last year’s experience. According to Max, as great as last summer was, this summer was even better. All that we had hoped for with the Outdoor Adventure program presented itself again – the intimacy of the small group, the interdependence & cooperative living with an outdoor trip, the sites according to Max were spectacular, and the kids & tour leaders were really great. We could not have been happier with his response to this experience or his personal growth. We are so glad we chose WCC. He had a blast. Thanks, Ira! Erica really enjoyed the teen tour experience. You have successfully executed a well-rounded trip with very nice young people. The kids on the trip were from varied states therefore giving Erica an even more enriching experience. Thank you. Mitchell had an extraordinary experience, incredible tour leaders, and awesome activities. Almost all of the teens came alone, which is a big deal when you consider that teens want to be in familiar groups. Thanks for an exciting, memorable, safe summer. Best staff I had in all my summers. LAKE SUCCESS Throughout the summer and when he came home, he has been so happy and on a high. The trip was amazing. I had so much fun. The director Jason did a great job this summer. It was an extremely well run trip with a very supportive fun-loving director and competent fun counselors who seemed to know just how to handle this challenging age group, social dynamics fell into place so nicely for such a short trip. Melanie really seemed to make some lovely friends. There seemed to be just the right combo of supervision and freedom. What a fantastic time our daughter Nathalie had on the Western Canadian Adventure trip. It was a great success on so many levels and we were delighted. LIDO BEACH Travis had an amazing time on his service trip to Hawaii. About 2 weeks into the program, he called and thanked us for sending him. Travis said it was a 'life altering' experience. It was perfect. I thought the trip was great because of the balance of community service, adventure, work and fun. I met great people and saw amazing sights in Alaska. Julia was very happy on her Alaska service program. She made friends, found real value and meaning in the Community Service projects. She also enjoyed the side adventures a lot, and best of all the people! Julia is home safe and sound - sad that it's over but definitely talking about next summer with you again already! Thanks for a successful! Jules LOVED IT!!!! LOUDONVILLE I feel that I have helped so many people and it has inspired me to check out the Food Bank near me. The community service that I do at home was different from this, but now I want to continue the sort of things that we have been doing in Alaska at home. MAHOPAC We greatly appreciated that our phone calls & e-mails were responded to promptly. Lena traveled “alone” but made friends in a short period of time. She loved that the counselors weren’t overly strict and gave the kids some freedom which is important at this age. The counselors were given high praise by our daughter. When your child comes back from a trip or from any experience with a wealth of stories, great memories, and good friends you know it was worth it. MAMARONECK Great staff, great activities. Robin & Jed Stricker There is nothing more important in our lives than our kids, and sending one away for 3 weeks with no one she knew was a much easier task for her than for us. If you recall, we "interviewed" you a before choosing Westcoast Connection for Ariel. The main reason for choosing Westcoast Connection was that you had the ability to address both the trip in a great way for Ariel and the security and supervision issues for us. You made us feel as comfortable as possible. We will admit, her traveling without any friends concerned us at the beginning but you were right, it was the best way for her to travel. She had an unbelievable time and made some friendships that could very well last a lifetime. She also grew and matured during this trip, an experience you cannot get from a textbook. As for your leaders, they were excellent. So we want to thank you for running such a professional operation and for employing the types of people you do, whether in your offices or on the trips. They are all superb. Building the playground was my favorite part of the Community Service Belize program. There was actually nothing there to start, and then in 4 days I could see it and say “Wow I built that.” The counselors were awesome & the programs were amazing. Our Director Cayleigh was always happy, organized & nice. Very responsible, too. This was an excellent teen tour and I would definitely recommend it. The different types of people were all very nice. This was by far the most amazing summer I’ve ever had. MERRICK Debbi was an amazing Tour Director. She handled the children with grace and ease while maintaining great relationships and a sense of respect from her campers. The staff was great as well. Thank you for supervising the trip so well. Jamie felt very safe and believed that though she had her freedom, she felt that the group leader & counselors were on top of everything. Jamie had a fantastic time. All the kids were great together. NEW YORK This was a really well run tour. Katie had a great time, and we knew that she was being well taken care of. I liked my community service and being able to interact with those in need on a very direct level. The conversations were amazing and it really gave me an insight into those who have lives that are less fortunate than mine. The staff (both before and during the trip) we came in contact with were courteous, and always delivered the information we needed in a timely way. Austin made so many good friends. He really enjoyed the cities and sites he visited, and felt that the group was managed well. He also felt that the other kids were nice and friendly. Definitely a great choice for his summer experience! PLAINVIEW I had an extremely good time and it was my favorite summer so far, way better than sleep away camp. It was like a month vacation and I got to go to a lot of new places I haven't been to before. It was very well planned and the hotels were really nice. Parker Rothman This summer was amazing and lived up to and surpassed my expectations and I'm SO glad I came. I made countless of what I expect to be life-long friendships. The counselors were amazing and I'm going to miss them just as much as my friends. I never want to leave; this tour has become my second family. She was always available to talk to, happy, cheerful, fun, etc. From the minute I got off the plane I felt like I was part of a family. It was better than anything I could have ever dreamed of. Everything was perfect. In Europe, our Tour Director went above & beyond. He went out of his way to truly ensure another summer of a lifetime. This was an amazing summer that has forever left an impact on my life. PLEASANTVILLE Summer 2007 was one of the best ones I've had. The leaders were amazing and established good relationships with each tour member very early in the trip.
