This program has 17 nights in hotels, resorts and dorms and 10 nights of deluxe camping spread out across the program.

Hotels & Resorts

We select the finest, centrally located hotels, dorms and resorts based on safety and proximity to our itinerary. Each tour member has an individual bed to ensure they can get a proper night’s rest.

Westin San Francisco Market Street (3 nights)

This hotel, located in the heart of San Francisco, is consistently rated by our tour members as one of the best hotels on our programs. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Whether you’ve just been to see Alcatraz or walked down the crookedest street in the world, the hotel is close by giving us ample time to enjoy its facilities, including the Fitness Center sponsored by Reebok. Check It Out!

Doubletree Resort, San Diego (2 nights)

After a day of catching waves at your surfing lessons or some beach time at La Jolla come back to this stunning hotel and enjoy some of the facilities: pool, Jacuzzi, fitness room, putting green or tennis courts (if you still have the energy of course!). Check It Out!

Monte Carlo, Las Vegas (2 nights)

Located on famous Las Vegas Boulevard, “The Strip”, around the corner from Gameworks, New York New York and just down the block from the Bellagio Water Fountains, Caesar’s Palace and the Forum Shops, this hotel has its own WAVE pool and lazy river – perfect to cool off from all the excitement of Vegas. Elvis said it right – ‘Viva Las Vegas’. Check It Out!

Quality Inn & Suites Grand Canyon (1 night)
Our hotel is a mere 7 miles from the rim of the Grand Canyon, and is the perfect location to take full advantage of this amazing “World Wonder.”

Marriott McDowell Mountains, Scottsdale (2 nights)

WOW – that’s probably the best word to describe this hotel and the first to come to mind. All the rooms are suites. And with a great swimming pool and whirlpool (perfect to relax those muscles after our Red Rock Pink Jeep Adventure), it’s a fantastic place to end your trip! Check It Out!

Quality Inn, Rock Springs (1 night)

You’ll rest your head comfortably tonight at this quality hotel after enjoying Rock Springs fitness center. Before heading off to bed perhaps a dip in the pool or hot tub is just what’s needed to loosen up.

Dorms

University of Colorado, Boulder (2 nights)

Welcome to one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation, located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The campus is a Colorado attraction in and of itself, however we’ll only be resting our heads at this university, a member of the Big 12 Conference, once we’ve biked the Boulder Creek path, hung out on Pearl Street and rode the night away at Denver’s Six Flags Amusement Park!

UCLA ~ Dorms and Suites (4 nights)

The UCLA campus is amazing and after staying here you might want to add them to your college apps. We’ll be staying right on campus, get the chance to use their unmatched facilities and we’ll definitely go check out the UCLA store, so you can pick up a jersey. You know you can wear it with pride as in 2007 UCLA became the first US College to win 100 team championships. GO Bruins! Check It Out!

Camping – the way it ought to be

Our camping experience is extremely comfortable and designed to give you a feel for the scenic areas we visit.

From day one, our leaders introduce you to the joy of camping and guide you in everything you need to know. On this adventure you will stay at private campgrounds where you'll find private hot showers and bathroom facilities. You’ll enjoy sturdy tents with quick and simple set-up that have plenty of room for you to have your bag with you in your tent. Westcoast provides thermal rest mattresses and deluxe camping cots.

Flag Ranch Campground, Jackson (2 nights)

Our campground is ideally situated for our visit to Yellowstone National Park and “Old Faithful”. The majestic views of the Grand Teton Mountains are unforgettable.

Lagoon Campground, Salt Lake City (2 nights)

Located minutes from Lagoon-a-Beach Water & Amusement Park there is no better place to set up camp! There’s something for everyone at Lagoon from roller coasters to rapids to “the Rocket.”

Lake Tahoe Campground (2 nights)
You couldn’t picture a more perfect and serene place. Crisp blue lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and of course almost always a sunny day, Tahoe is a dream camping experience! After a busy day of water-skiing or rafting, or reaching new heights on the High Ropes Challenge Course, we can come back to the site to relax and enjoy the facilities, maybe take a dip in the swimming pool or the Jacuzzi or play some tennis or hoops. This resort campsite is tops!

Ventura Beach Campground (2 nights)
Pacific Ocean here we come! Our campsite is literally 50 yards from the beach and the surf. The perfect way to recharge the batteries. Of course our massive brunch helps a little too!

Bryce Canyon (2 nights)

Imagine waking up and being moments from some of the most beautiful scenery in the United States. Welcome to Ruby’s Inn Campground. Here we hike the beautiful Bryce Canyon and afterwards cool off in the pool or relax in the hot tub.
